A week or so ago Emma told us that she was "trapped by girls." At the time she was sitting in between Ruth and Lily at the dinner table.
I replied, "That is how daddy feels his whole life."
John said, "At least now I have an escape clause: Adam."
The girls had no idea what he was talking about but I thought it was pretty funny.
The day before I took all of the girls to my parents' house while I went shopping. Adam stayed with John. The bishop saw them leaving for the store and asked what they were doing. John's response was, "Having a little male bonding." Good for John! He deserves it.
